The world's largest research center in the field of shipbuilding and design with a 130-year history, has a unique experimental and bench base, including the only one in Russia has a specialized facility for conducting research on unique structures — a Landscape wind tunnel.

The Center provides comprehensive scientific support for the design and construction of complex engineering structures.

In the field of "Aerodynamics of architectural structures", the Krylov Center conducted studies of more than 400 buildings and structures, including more than 50 bridges. Among them are such unique projects as the Crimean Bridge, the Krestovsky Stadium in St. Petersburg, and the Moscow City high-rise buildings.
