Baltschug 42 | ELENA POTEMKINA INTERIORS Design Studio

Balchug Viewpoint is a deluxe class residential complex located in the very center of Moscow on the Golden Island, just 500 meters from the Kremlin. The complex consists of 5 mansions with open-plan apartment buildings. The luxury apartments offer a magnificent view of the Kremlin.

The 95m2 apartment project was developed for rental. The task was to design a modern space in the style of cozy minimalism. An apartment with two bedrooms and a formal kitchen - living room.   From the first step into the hallway, we enter the main space of the house, from where we can see the living-dining room with a large panoramic window and a view of the Moskva River. On both sides of the living room there is a guest room and a master bedroom with a private bathroom. A convenient dressing room with a laundry room is hidden behind an inconspicuous door in the hallway.  Lots of light, restrained colors, balanced compositions are the interior style of this apartment. There is nothing superfluous here, storage systems and everything that could create "household noise" are hidden behind the laconic facades of the built-in cabinet furniture, which opens by pressing. Only what is necessary, aesthetically pleasing and meaningful remains in sight. All cabinet furniture is part of partitions or other dividing structures. In the center of the room there is a rather large load-bearing column, which was hidden with the help of a complex rack, some sections of which remained open. The kitchen area is located to the left of the hallway. All modules are designed in a single concise style. Light enters the work area through the open sections of the shelving. Textured plaster panels are located in the master bedroom and the guest room. All upholstered furniture in the living room with smoothed corners, its elements rhyme with each other, creating a cozy oasis of circular composition in the very center of the apartment. An important element of the interior is the light. Natural from panoramic windows and artificial, integrated into a single lighting scenario. The combination of various textures - fabrics, natural wood veneer, polished natural stone creates a feeling of multidimensional space.
