Japandi in Stalinka | MNdesign
The project of an apartment in the center of Moscow is characterized by an unusual planning solution. It was necessary to place a living room, a master bedroom and 2 isolated children's rooms, with only 3 windows available.
The main idea of the project was formed from the resulting space transformed by sliding partitions and the general theme of the japandi style. Rooms separated by sliding partitions are one of the characteristic features of a traditional Japanese house, which in turn had a significant impact on the architecture and interiors of functionalism. This led to the idea of bringing an unobtrusive "Japanese look" to the project.
