The Main Gastromall | UMMC-Developer
The Main Gastromall is a new "point of attraction" in the prestigious Yekaterinburg City business district, which combines the best projects of the restaurant business, office space and public spaces.
One of the main gastronomic attractions is the food court, where we tried to combine global trends with authentic cuisine of the Urals. The interiors for the "Main" were designed by the famous designer Grigory Zaslavsky.
Glavny is a new generation gastromall where nature, modern design and Ural identity merge into a single space. There is no place for industrial coldness here — only warmth, light and harmony.
The main theme of the interior is Natural harmony and Ural character.
Basic principles of interior design:
1. From industrial chaos to natural harmony
The Main Gastromall is consciously moving away from the rough industrial trends of concrete, open communications and a chaotic loft. Instead, the space is filled with warmth, light and natural materials, creating an atmosphere of comfort and freedom.
2. The aesthetics of nature in detail, Living trees soaring from the ceiling at a height of 4 meters, turn the hall into a light forest — airy and dynamic.
Natural stone — massive tables, benches and decorative elements made of Ural serpentine and other rocks add to the monumentality and connection with the local identity.
Handmade copper — sculptural panels, lamps and interior details created by Ural craftsmen give the space a noble shine and personality.
3. Spaciousness and comfort as a philosophy
Air and light — unlike cramped food courts, there is no clutter of elements. The space breathes, and the thoughtful layout allows you to feel free.
Soft tones and natural textures — a calm palette (muted greens, terracotta, wood shades) and the absence of aggressive accents create a relaxing atmosphere.
4. Uniform style instead of visual noise
A single image, rather than a set of disparate points — all areas are united by a common aesthetic: from facades to signage. The operators are offered ready-made design solutions that preserve harmony.
Minimalism with a soul — laconic shapes, thoughtful lines, absence of unnecessary decor. The interior does not overload, but rather emphasizes taste and quality.
5. The Ural character in detail
Local materials and handmade work — every element of the interior tells the story of the Urals: stone is its power, copper is the legacy of craftsmen, wood is the connection with nature.
References to landscapes are as if a part of the mountain forest was moved inside, preserving its natural beauty.
The style of the interiors is very natural and textured, reflecting the identity of the region. The guests of the gastromall will see a floating garden. Small green islands of living plants create a harmonious and cozy atmosphere inside.
The concept of the Main gastromall breaks down the stereotypes of commercial spaces, offering not just a place to eat, but an immersive environment where architecture, design and local identity create a unique experience.
For the guests, it is not just a food court, but a place of power with a unique atmosphere.
For operators, there are ready-made design solutions that raise the standard of establishments.
For the city, it is an example of high—quality public design, where commerce does not contradict aesthetics.
The Main Gastromall does not copy trends, but creates them by combining nature, modern design and the Ural spirit in a format that was not previously available in Russia.
