Larix.Manager — Russian software for analysis and verification of digital information models | Aibim LLC
1. AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO AUTOMATION
Larix.Manager is a new product of the Larix platform (the product line complements each other and completes tasks at various stages of the project lifecycle: starting from CIM quality control, automating cost estimates and generating a statement of work volumes and costs, ending with conducting tender procedures, selecting contractors and further interacting with them during the contract execution phase).
2. THE RANGE OF TASKS TO BE SOLVED
The solution allows you to collect summary CIM from various CAD systems and closes the entire list of checks of information models. In Larix.Manager, you can perform visual and automatic checks for: design errors, collisions, and compliance with model requirements, as well as generate reports. The CIM verification functionality for design errors allows you to control the quality of design decisions made, while creating points of view, and the mechanism for checking for collisions and analyzing them is to search for and prevent elements from intersecting on the construction site from different sections.
3. INNOVATION
Larix.Manager completely replaces its foreign counterparts.
4. INTEROPERABILITY
Larix.Manager allows you to load IFC models directly. Larix.Manager users are already working with models from IndorCAD, Robur Topomatic, Credo, Revit, Renga and others.
5. SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Larix.Manager provides offline operation without Internet access, secure data storage by hosting The user, not on external servers, and independence from foreign products and components.
6. CREATION OF A CONSOLIDATED (FEDERATED) BIM PROJECT MODEL
Creating a composite model is one of the most important tasks in the BIM design process, the purpose of which is to coordinate both individual models of one section and various sections of the project.
There is also a consolidated model, which is combined and coordinated BIM data, including those obtained from various sources, which is used for various customer processes. BIM models from Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Renga, Bentley are uploaded to Larix Manager using free plug-ins (links) via the intermediate IMC format. BIM models of the universal IFC format can be uploaded to Larix Manager directly without additional actions.
It also supports importing data from Microsoft Excel in the form of non-modeled elements, which are often necessary for customers to generate volume reports.
7. CHECKING BIM MODELS FOR COLLISIONS AND DESIGN ERRORS
Larix Manager implements a unique functionality for automatic verification of a BIM model for collisions, which has no analogues in the Russian market, as well as surpasses popular foreign analogues.
8. COLLISION ANALYSIS
Larix also provides the user with unique tools for collision analysis. For example, for geometric intersections, collision volumes and collision dimensions are calculated on three sides, which can be used to sort collisions and identify the most critical ones. There are several ways to visualize the validation results, allowing you to view a single collision, all the collisions in the validation, one of the sets and collisions, or the entire model and collisions.
The program implements several types of collision check reports: summary reports for managers, detailed reports for designers, as well as for analytics in Power-BI.
9. CHECKING THE PARAMETERS IN THE BIM MODEL
Attribute information in the elements is one of the most important components of a BIM model. The automatic parameter verification module allows you to check the model for the presence of the required parameters, as well as for compliance with the required values or ranges. Parameter checking can be performed both for the entire model and for a separate group of elements, which is often required in practice.
10. VISUAL INSPECTION
Despite the extensive tools for automatic verification of the BIM model, comprehensive verification of the model requires, among other things, a visual inspection to identify errors that cannot be detected automatically.
11. THE STATUS MODEL
A function for completely different tasks, up to maintaining a BIM construction model.
12. POPULARIZATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AMONG SPECIALISTS
Included with the program, Aibim provides a template for universal collision checks, which are based on the experience of many Aibim projects and are applicable to various facilities. At the same time, the user can, if necessary, adapt the template to the specifics and objectives of his project.
13. USERS
The Aibim development company uses its own developments for CIM checks on maintenance projects. The product is also distributed in the foreign market. Larix.Manager users work in various construction industries: from the construction of residential buildings to infrastructure projects and project expertise. The key users are: Sber, Neometria, Mavis, Kola MMC, GC Osnova, ANO RSI, Green, Rostproekt and others.
14. CALCULATION OF ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY
Larix.Manager provides the following:
- Reduction of the verification time for design solutions/models (from 2 days to 2 hours);
- Reduction of collision analysis time (from 3 days to 4 hours);
- Getting the correct data for subsequent TIM scenarios;
- Improving the quality of the project and the accepted design decisions.
Based on the salary survey, by reducing the time for analyzing and verifying the model, the following results can be obtained based on 100 models:
- 2 hours instead of 2 days saves 1.05 million rubles.
- 4 hours instead of 3 days saves 1.5 million rubles.
