Energy-efficient modular structures made of lightweight concrete based on foam | Dom 3.0 LLC

In the project of LLC "Dom 3.0" has developed a two-stage technology for the production of energy-efficient lightweight concretes and products based on foam glass granulate (PSG) in single-layer enclosing structures of buildings (without the use of insulation).

The production process of foam glass granulate (PSG) includes:

  1. Production of highly dispersed mineral powder (extraction of mineral raw materials, primary crushing, drying, fine grinding)
  2. Mass preparation. Unlike traditional technologies for producing calcined aggregates for concrete, PSG technology is based on a powder method of mass preparation, in which wetting mineral powder with a strictly dosed chemically active solution is combined with the formation of granules of a given size, followed by thermochemical treatment of granules.
  3. Firing (metered feed of raw granules into the furnace, metered feed of coal, heating, isothermal exposure of the material at the firing temperature (800-900 ° C), sieving).

The density of such light concretes varies from 400 to 1200 kg / cubic meter (which is from 2 to 4 times lighter than heavy concrete), while the strength ranges from 2.5 to 15 MPa. In a complex with a low coefficient of thermal conductivity (from 0.1 to 0.17), it becomes possible to use this type of concrete for the production of energy-efficient single-layer enclosing structures (without the use of insulation) — panels, modular facades, blocks, ready-made modular house kits. The completed structures meet all the requirements of the regulatory and technical documentation in the field of construction, including the requirements for the heat shield of the building (for all climatic zones of the Russian Federation). The use of this technology makes it possible to abandon multilayer structures by replacing them with single-layer ones (without the use of insulation), reduce the cost of enclosing structures (up to 20%) due to factory readiness of elements and modules, reduce construction time (up to 50%), reduce the cost of materials and work, and reduce the complexity of work in the manufacture of elements. made of lightweight concrete (due to the reduction and simplification of the technological stages of work, the ability to manufacture products in vertical cassettes). In addition, due to the lightening of structures, the transport load on roads and installation loads are reduced, and the percentage of reinforcement of load-bearing structures is reduced (as a result, the cost of reinforcement work is reduced).

In addition to the above advantages, it is also worth noting that lightweight PSG concrete and structures based on it are non—flammable, environmentally friendly (due to the use of mineral raw materials), and have increased sound insulation characteristics. Ready-made standard and individual solutions for construction projects allow them to be implemented in housing construction, commercial real estate, social infrastructure, temporary structures, as well as in the integrated development of territories.

Foam glass concrete will also increase the duration of the inter-repair period and increase the reliability of structures in operation due to a significantly higher durability of the structural system (abandoning ventilated facade systems and short-lived insulation materials) and, thereby, provide standard comfortable conditions in places of work and residence.
