METEOR Lift has equipped the largest sports complex in Western Siberia, Kuzbass Arena, with modern lifting and transport equipment. Kemerovo. The company has supplied and installed six latest generation Meteor Evo elevators without a machine room using belt technology and four escalators. The lifting capacity of the elevators is 1000 kg, the capacity is 13 passengers, and the speed is 1 m/s. All elevators are manufactured at the METEOR Lift factory in St. Petersburg. Due to the lack of a machine room, it was possible to free up valuable space and place more sports facilities in the building. All elevators are equipped with a ReDrive regenerative drive, which, combined with a compact gearless winch, helps save up to 75% of energy consumption, which reduces the cost of operating the entire complex. Energy savings are also achieved thanks to LED lighting, which has a service life 10 times longer than fluorescent lamps, with an automatic shutdown mode.

The high accuracy of stopping the cabins on the floor platforms ensures unhindered use of elevators by people with limited mobility. All the equipment installed in the complex is characterized by reliability, durability, smooth running and low noise levels, ensuring comfortable and safe movement of arena visitors.

The use of the technology of flat polyurethane belts reinforced with steel ropes ensures the durability and safety of elevator equipment. These belts do not require lubrication and have a significantly longer service life (2.5 — 3 times) compared to traditional ropes. In addition, all elevators are equipped with the SmartSense system, which provides automatic monitoring of the condition and integrity of belts in round-the-clock monitoring mode. The system allows timely planning of maintenance and minimizing possible downtime of elevators.

Additional reliability is provided by the infrared protection of the doorway, blocking the operation of the elevator in case of unauthorized opening of the shaft doors, fencing the counterweight in the pit and fencing the rotating parts.

Four passenger escalators with a lifting height of 14.4 m are designed for continuous operation at maximum load levels, which makes them an ideal choice for installation in buildings with high passenger traffic. They are made of stainless steel, which makes them highly durable and resistant to corrosion. The design of the steps is characterized by the presence of a hollow axis between the chains with steps and steps attached to the axis, which ensures precise transverse entry of the steps into the comb and prevents them from falling inside in the event of a breakdown of the steps. Compact dimensions provide structural flexibility and ease of installation. The escalators have built-in LED lighting, a direction indicator and an elongated conical handrail mouth, ensuring the safety and convenience of regular use by guests of the sports complex. Thanks to the tapering deflectors, the risk of pinching is minimized. Escalators are 90% made of recyclable materials, which makes them environmentally friendly to use. The highly efficient automatic lubrication system ensures easy maintenance, low noise and vibration, longer chain life, and reduces oil consumption.
