The main challenge and solutions found:

The main objective of the project was to create a central urban space for different user groups with maximum conservation and restoration of the natural potential of the place. To solve the problem of creating a sought-after and used space in the park, playgrounds and zones relevant for different ages have been designed: a transit and promenade, a retail (cafe), event, playground and sports grounds, places of quiet relaxation, a rope park as a point of active recreation, as well as viewing and photo zones.

To solve the problem of preserving the natural potential, the project takes into account the existing ecosystem of the pine forest. The paths are designed along existing routes and bypass the trees. All the transits in the park are designed from a permeable coating — granite screening. The project has preserved all healthy trees, architectural solutions take into account each tree and fit stylistically into the local landscape. To solve the problem of restoring the natural potential, the project returned a stream with a pond to the site, which had been in a swampy state for a long time. Measures were taken to clear the reservoir and plant green spaces that prevent the re-waterlogging of the territory.

The main idea of the project:

The project includes the concept of an ecopark, which is revealed in the approaches to design, placement of functional areas, architectural, color solutions and materials used. The main idea is to take care of the existing ecosystem of the territory with special attention to the preservation of the pine forest. Cleaning the neglected area of the stream and part of the pond restores its embankment function. The functional areas of the park additionally reveal the existing potential of the territory: the placement of sites and their dimensions are connected to existing forest clearings; transit routes are designed along existing trodden paths, and their permeable coating does not invade the root system of trees. Natural motifs are used in architectural solutions. The unique fencing of the embankment is an image of a pine forest. The colors, textures, and materials are close to natural shades. The only bright accent in the park is the sports ground. Its coverings and multifunctional red support contrast with nature. The line serves as a direction for the development of the sports function. Various sports elements are designed at different points of the road. The fencing on the sports field is designed in the context of the forest. The rhythm of custom-made wooden elements dissolves in the medium. The playground is also made in natural materials. The main coating is wood mulch. The rubber coating was added locally to form the game route. You can jump between the islands of the rubber coating, which creates a new game scenario.
