Nagelbrus — glued timber without glue!
Nagelbrus is an environmentally friendly and warm timber without glue and chemicals.
This is the same glued beam, but without glue. The patented technology of connecting the layers of timber allows you to fasten wood with wood.
Instead of glue, wooden nagels are used: a beech connecting nagel passes through all the layers of the lamella boards, which in turn is additionally fastened with fixing nagels in the side lamellae.
Nagelbrus is produced in two versions:
- Classic Nagelbrus is environmentally friendly, consisting only of wood;
- Nagelbrus Ecothermal is a significantly insulated and eco—friendly timber, which is THREE TIMES WARMER than glued timber.
The Ecothermal springboard is an insulated springboard: instead of the central lamellae, an environmentally friendly BelTermo insulation is used.
Nagelbrus Ecothermo has a number of advantages over solid-wood beams:
- Significantly warmer: The 200 mm thick Ecothermal wall replaces a 540 mm thick wooden wall made of glued timber;
- It has increased noise insulation properties: the insulation layer significantly slows down the speed of sound propagation.;
- Savings on construction: a smaller amount of material is required to achieve the required thermal insulation properties.
