"Reconstruction of 2nd Novosibirsk and radiant streets with the construction of a tram line from the tram ring on Okruzhnaya Street in Yekaterinburg" Stage 2.2 | LLC PSK "EVerest"
Reconstruction of 2nd Novosibirsk and Radiant streets with the construction of a tram line from the tram ring on Okruzhnaya Street in Yekaterinburg, Stage 2.2.
The projected facility is located along 2nd Novosibirsk Street and Lucistaya Street, from Okruzhnaya Street to the Yekaterinburg Ring Highway, in the Chkalovsky district of Yekaterinburg.
The Everest Design Bureau designed Radiant Street, starting with conceptual solutions, transport analysis — forecasting flows, street capacity and public transport capacity, at the stage of developing the draft layout of the Solnechny district. After the approval of the territory planning project, the Everest Design Bureau served as the general designer for the development and coordination of the Radiant Street project with the tram line at all stages of design (draft design, design and working documentation).
The projected tram line represents a new direction of the public transport route, from the existing intersection of 2nd Novosibirsk - Okruzhnaya streets, to the Solnechny microdistrict, with the construction of a precast reinforced concrete tram bridge over the Patrushikha River, with bike paths and sidewalks.
The improvement of the transport infrastructure in the Chkalovsky district of Yekaterinburg through the development of public transport, including tram traffic for the transport unloading of Lucistaya Street, 2nd Novosibirsk Street, is due to the constantly growing flow of transport, including transit; the desire to improve transport services in the surrounding areas.
The design was carried out with the creation of an information model of engineering surveys, design solutions for streets, tram tracks, tram ring, traction substation, automobile and tram bridges over the Patrushikha River, reconstruction of railway tracks and railway crossing on the same level with the arrangement of crossing signaling; placement of traffic light control facilities, reconstruction of outdoor lighting networks, electricity supply, contact network, computerization networks, communication networks, household and rainwater drainage networks, drainage systems, drinking water supply networks, gas pipeline networks, rainwater treatment plants, 110-500 kV high-voltage power transmission lines.
To ensure a comfortable acoustic regime in the adjacent territories, design solutions provide for the installation of vibration mats on a concrete base for the projected tram tracks and a closed tram track structure (rail at ground level), local noise—proof screens in order to preserve the visual perception of the territory.
The design solutions provide for rich landscaping and small architectural forms for the convenience of residents (urns, benches, bicycle handrails and parking lots, etc.); public transport stops are equipped with comfortable pavilions and are connected to the equipped surrounding area.
