Aesthetic therapy: how premium design changes the rules of medicine.

Our studio has transformed a four-storey building of a former hotel with an area of 2000 sq. m. He went to the UMMC-Zdorovye Center for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, completely freeing him from the disturbing hospital image. According to the customer, the design was supposed to become part of the therapy, helping the patient to disconnect from stress. We have created a space where the very atmosphere heals.

Instead of long, blind corridors, the architectural center of the clinic has become a four-story atrium with a light lantern. Its walls are decorated with relief panels using seven types of decorative plaster, and the main accent is a cascading chandelier made of transparent and amber glass. Glass stair railings visually lighten the interior, while wooden handrails add a warm tactile feel. Transparent walls facing the atrium fill the corridors with light.

The interior concept is based on natural elements. The first floor is designed in the theme of Earth with an ochre-terracotta palette, the water treatment floor is in the theme of Water, and the medical reception area is in the theme of Ether. Even the offices here are named not by numbers, but by condition.: "Balance", "Calmness", "Harmony".

The special pride of the project is the 12 hospital rooms, designed according to the standards of a five—star hotel. Medical supplies are combined here with premium comfort: blackout curtain rods, lighting scenarios, a "turn everything off" button, Type-C sockets, wide beds and comfortable bathrooms. The color scheme of the rooms works as an antistress, and all medical elements are integrated as delicately as possible.
