The embankment of the Beloyarsk reservoir is the heart of Zarechny, a favorite vacation spot for citizens and guests of the city. The park on the embankment is a space for sports, family walks with children and picnics in nature. Its main values are functional diversity, natural and ecological attractiveness.

The eco-park is a waterfront area full of diverse functions. Planning solutions pursue the goal of minimal interference in the forest area, due to which natural forms of pavement of the road and path network and thematic sites are formed. Architectural solutions have also been developed taking into account the delicate integration into the natural area. The eco-park has formed a stylistically unified integral space of the embankment of the Beloyarsk reservoir.

The project was successfully implemented in two stages: first, the main natural area was landscaped, and then a pedestrian zone with a cascading staircase was built, which became a convenient connecting artery with the recreation area.

As a result, a framework of public spaces was formed in Zarechny, consisting of a well-maintained Takhovsky Boulevard, an Eco-park and Kuznetsov Street.

The concept is based on the unique identity of the place, which combines the natural resources of the Urals, the traditions of skiing and Bazhov's tales. The metallurgical heritage is reflected in themed gaming equipment, and mineralogical collections are reflected in interactive art objects.

The fabulous story of a forest ranger boy who created a ski slope to help animals combines all the elements and emphasizes the value of caring for nature.

A tree-high walking route with cascading stairs provides a comfortable and accessible descent to the embankment for all groups of the population. The route offers two options for movement: along an expressive cascading staircase, which has become an architectural dominant, and along a winding path laid among the crowns of trees.
