Construction of a transport interchange at the intersection of the high-speed ring along the lane Basic from Komsomolskaya St. and Sibirskiy trakt in Yekaterinburg | OOO "Uralgiprotrans"

The transport interchange at the Kalina concern at the intersection of Sibirsky Tract, Komsomolskaya Street and Basovy Lane is one of the largest projects of Yekaterinburg's transport infrastructure in recent years.

 In this section, transit traffic is being redistributed from Tyumen, Kamensk-Uralsky (the understudy of the Siberian Tract), Polevsky directions and intra-urban traffic flows along the city's road network.

  The planned interchange is part of the median transport ring that runs along Tokarei — Bebel — Khalturin — Motorway — Bakinsky Komissarov — Rayevsky — Novgorodtseva Streets (frontage of the Siberian Highway) — lane. The basic one is the head of Onufriev — Serafima Deryabina. The transport ring is provided for by the General Development Plan of the city of Yekaterinburg to ensure the passage of freight transport bypassing residential areas.

 The implementation of all five stages of the construction of the projected interchange by increasing the capacity of the hub and organizing traffic at different levels will significantly relieve heavy traffic, ensure continuity of traffic over intersecting transport communications, increase the speed of movement between key highways and create the basis for the long-term development of the city's transport network.

 The main construction works are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026, and the complex will be fully operational.
