Atlas Luxo | Atlas Development
Atlas Luxo Residential Ecosystem is a multi-storey business class residential complex under construction near Yekaterinburg Arena, at the intersection of Repin and Kraul Streets. The project includes three residential towers of different heights, forming an integral composition on a complex triangular plot. Construction of the complex has begun, and commissioning is scheduled for December 2028 without dividing into queues: all three towers, the courtyard and commercial premises must be completed simultaneously.
The main idea of Atlas Luxo is light as an architectural material. This philosophy is already embedded in the name of the project: "Luxo" comes from the Latin Lux – "light" and from the international unit of measurement of illumination – lux (lx). The name sounds premium, easy to remember, and conveys the essence of the project in one word – architecture built around the world. In Atlas Luxo, light does not work as a decorative metaphor, but as the basis of a three-dimensional solution: it determines the plasticity of facades, the silhouette of towers, the nature of landscaping, scenarios of life in the courtyard and the perception of the complex in the urban panorama. The architects moved away from the usual logic of rectangular buildings and created a bionic, soft shape of buildings: without sharp corners, with rounded edges, variable height and a stepped silhouette. Due to this, the complex is perceived not as a set of high-altitude volumes, but as a single sculptural composition, open to the sun, air and the city.
