RE:PORT | KANVA Moscow
RE Business Center:The PORT is part of a large—scale transformation of the territory of the Northern River Port of Moscow, where a modern urban area with residential, business, social infrastructure, as well as a landscaped embankment is being formed on the site of a former industrial zone. The concept was created by the KANVA Moscow architectural bureau commissioned by PLUS Development.
The business center project is conceived as a local architectural dominant. The 135-meter-high tower with the characteristic "comet feather" on the facade serves as a visual landmark both from the water area and inside the quarter. The building is located on the second line of the building and forms the depth of the space, creating an expressive vertical accent.
The unusual plastic facade of the building is formed as a response to the orthogonal structure of the surrounding building: glass and metal faces unfold, creating the effect of a dynamic spiral. The perception of an object varies depending on the viewpoint, while maintaining its accent role at different levels of the urban environment.
The key principle of the project is human—centricity. Following his requirements, "RE:The PORT is designed as a flexible environment for work and interaction. Panoramic glazing provides a high level of natural light and visual connection with the city and the river.
A green terrace on the stylobate, designed for meetings and relaxation, becomes the public core.
Planning solutions provide for variability: open spaces, public areas and flexible communications adapt to different work formats.
The project forms a new model of office architecture — open, dynamic and integrated into urban life, symbolizing the territory's transition from an industrial past to a modern urban environment.
