COSMO 4/22 hotel complex with apartments and underground parking | MARKS GROUP

A hotel complex with apartments and underground parking. As part of the new construction, it is planned to reconstruct the historical facade from the side of the Kosmodamianskaya embankment with an increase in the number of floors. To recreate the historical appearance of the building built in 1901 by architect I. Blagoveshchensky, architectural solutions include partial preservation of the existing wall, supplemented with facade details in accordance with archival documentation.

Architectural (compositional and color) solutions for the exterior of the building were made taking into account its visual perception in combination with the general building of the quarter.

The first floor is being reconstructed, recreates the historical theme of the "shopping malls", is lined with slabs of natural stone for the purpose of protective anti–vandal measures.

The 2-3 floors of the main facade are preserved. The project provides for restoration by cleaning bricks in combination with architectural details designed in 1901 according to archival documentation.

The 4th and 5th floors are designed to preserve the general style of the historical facade, with enlarged windows and metal openwork fencing of the French balconies.

The 6th floor is a superstructure, architecturally and stylistically it is a continuation of the previous floors. The facade plane is recessed, the project provides for the installation of terraces.

The Golden Island of Baltschug, where Cosmo 4/22 is located, is the keeper of a special Moscow atmosphere. Its unique territory has become a new point of attraction, where there is everything for a comfortable and respectable life: theaters, restaurants, cafes, parks, historical attractions.
