Residential complex (Modern Kurchatov quarter) | Siberian Design Technologies LLC
The Kurchatov residential complex is being designed as part of the second stage of the quarterly development of the Akademicheskiy microdistrict in Yekaterinburg. The complex includes a 32-storey high-rise tower, five 9-storey sections, ground-level commercial premises and underground parking under the entire building site.
The project was implemented in a single BIM environment using an integrated approach to information modeling at all stages of design. The BIM model was used not only as a visualization tool, but also as a full-fledged digital production environment for coordinating sections, issuing documentation, engineering calculations, automated inspections, and project quality management.
The work was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the customer's EIR and the internal BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Uniform naming standards, a system of common coordinates, classifiers, and parametric requirements were used for the model to ensure the stability and manageability of BIM data.
The model combines architectural, structural, and engineering sections in a single coordinating environment. Interdisciplinary coordination was carried out using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM Track, and automated quality control scripts. Collision control was carried out regularly according to the approved verification matrix.
Special attention was paid to the automation of BIM processes. The project used its own plug-ins and tools for calculating engineering systems, forming specifications, checking parameters and controlling the quality of the model. DataLens digital dashboards were used for analytics and monitoring, allowing you to track model performance, collision dynamics, and quality indicators in real time.
The BIM model was used to automatically issue documentation, generate volume statements, and prepare a digital model for the construction and operation stages.
